Red Dog Writing Services was officially founded in 2005.

Owner Rachel Davis began her career as a technical editor in Minneapolis. After paying her dues with years of technical writing, editing, and design work, she founded Red Dog Writing Services to prove—to herself and to her clients—that even the most complex and technical subject matter can be described in a way that is clear and compelling.

Red Dog Writing Services specializes in reader-friendly writing for medical and engineering clients.

Why Red Dog?

Red Dog was named after a certain high-spirited, funny, and rollicking red dog who lives with Rachel. Time and again, Finny the Irish Setter has demonstrated his energy, intelligence, humor, and loyalty. What better namesake can a company have?
